Internet Safety Training

   New Training Opportunities!

Project NetWise is tentatively scheduling three internet safety trainings concerning MySpace Training, Curriculum Development, and Basic Cyber Crimes.   These events will be geared toward educators and law enforcement officers.

Project NetWise hosted an Internet safety speakers bureau development training on June 23^rd at John A. Logan College from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.     The training was conducted by the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy from the College of DuPage.  Topics covered included MySpace, Facebook, Text Messaging, Cameras, and Victims Reporting of Crimes.  

This event was made possible through generous support from the U.S. Attorney's Office Southern District of Illinois.
